The Power of a Fresh Start – Rewiring Your Brain for Change

Welcome to our first Video Tuesday of the year! I’m Glenn from IronMind Leadership, and I want to invite you to hit the reset button with me. There’s something powerful about a fresh start—whether it’s a new year, a new week, or even a new morning. Neuroscience tells us these moments of renewal actually boost our brain’s motivation circuits and increase neuroplasticity—our ability to rewire habits and beliefs. So, if you’ve ever felt stuck or discouraged by past setbacks, remember: your brain is built for change.
Framework Highlight:
One of my favorite tools is our H.A.B.I.T. Model:
Hook to Purpose
Anchor with Triggers
Build Through Small Steps
Integrate Accountability
Track and Transform
When you connect a habit to your deeper purpose, anchor it to something you already do—like your morning coffee—and break it into the tiniest possible step, you make change almost frictionless. Add some accountability, and you’ll be amazed by your progress.
Action Plan:
Take a moment to reflect: What’s one habit you want to build or rebuild this year? Maybe it’s daily reflection, a gratitude practice, or a 10-minute walk.
Anchor it to a daily trigger—something you never miss, like brushing your teeth or logging into your computer.
Track your progress for 90 days using MindForge Pro or a simple notebook. Remember, every day is a chance to start again.

You have a fresh canvas—how will you use it? Drop your habit goal in the comments and let’s create a wave of positive change together. What’s your biggest motivation for making this your year of growth?
